Teens are invited to hang out at the Darlington Station Reserve throughout the weekend with buskers and free-for-all weed weaving. Intuitive abstract painting with contemporary artist Isaac Huggins. From 3-5pm on Saturday get on the tools – stone carving with Jina Lee.
From 5:30-8pm on Saturday, we’re dedicating this zone to you with local live music (check the socials for acts to be announced) and a free silent disco with tunes of your choice, if that’s your thing.
Couches and bean bags. Food truck. Ice cream and cold drinks.
The Darlington Arts Festival Youth Engagement Program (DAFYEP!) offers a range of creative development opportunities for young people.
Participants develop their projects with established artists and learn new creative skills. Works from this program are created and/or exhibited during the Darlington Arts Festival.
The Darlington Arts Festival Committee acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which our festival is held, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal communities and their cultures and to elders past, present and emerging.
