This year’s Darlington Arts Festival is shaping up very well and we are in the throes of finalising the program for the main stage. We are excited to announce that this year we have the use of another venue in addition to the main stage – St Cuthbert’s Anglican Church. This is a lovely intimate venue with fantastic acoustics and it’s also extremely close to the main stage. We are also getting back some of the great roving acts from last year including .
As always, the festival will feature performers from local schools/colleges plus many talented professional acts, many of whom are from the Hills community.
This year we are expanding the performing arts space, to use the beautiful St Cuthbert’s Church, with its wonderful acoustics, where we will showcase some of our more intimate acts.
The roving performers will include Michael the Pirateman and Junkadelic Brass Band , Ben & Holly for the kids and Betty Bubbles.”
